Academy Performing Ensemble Inc. Nutcracker 2024

Founded in 1994 by Cathleen Cronin Dunlap, the Academy Performing Ensemble is a non-profit 501-C organization committed to furthering dance education through providing performance and training opportunities for our community. Members of the Academy Performing Ensemble are offered master classes, showcases, competitions, conventions, intensives, travel and the ability to perform in our two annual studio productions, including the beloved Children's Nutcracker.

Like many nonprofit arts organizations, the Academy Performing Ensemble has faced severe threats to our organization's long-term sustainability in the past three years. We are thrilled to say we "made it through" the immediate Covid-19 pandemic when many studios were forced to close their doors. 

The arts have always had the unique ability to heal a hurting community, nation, and world. Our priority is to put on the highest quality production for our students and our community. But we need your help. If you are able, and with much gratitude, we ask that you please consider a financial contribution to secure our long-term viability and ensure that we can continue to serve the community through our performances.
