Agape Women's Ministry was founded in October 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia, with a singular mission: to empower disadvantaged young women and vulnerable girls. We focus on building their self-esteem, helping them discover their purpose and identity, and equipping them with practical skills that will strengthen their role in their communities.

Our commitment to this mission expanded significantly after a pivotal trip in December 2013 to Lagos, Nigeria, and Monrovia, Liberia. While we were able to donate 100 newborn supplies to a maternity hospital in Nigeria, it was the profound need we witnessed in Liberia that truly shaped our path. We quickly realized that the women and girls we encountered there, all survivors of the civil war and still dealing with various traumas, required greater assistance. This experience ignited a commitment to serve disadvantaged young women and vulnerable girls in Liberia, alongside our ongoing mentorship work in Atlanta.

This deep-seated passion led to the creation of the Agape Village Mentorship Program. Our unique, six-session, curriculum-based program (which is copyright certified) specifically addresses the needs of girls who have endured abuse, rape, and other injustices. Our goal is to help them understand their worth, grow their skillsets, and experience profound compassion and care. The curriculum thoughtfully covers six vital areas: Forgiveness, Purpose, Parenting, Hygiene, Respect, and Identity.

In 2026, we endeavor to launch the Agape Village Training center for girls who are  a part of the mentorship program. Our goal is to empower them with skillsets that will help them to become productive members of their communities and families. Will you join us and give?
