This GA Gives Day on #GivingTuesday, we invite you to stand with the Northeast Georgia Council on Domestic Violence (NEGACDV) as we work to provide safety, shelter, and support for survivors of domestic violence across Hart, Franklin, and Elbert Counties.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of December to ensure that victims of abuse, their children, and their pets have a safe place to turn when home is no longer safe. Every day, families in our community are forced to make impossible choices—between staying in a dangerous situation or leaving behind everything they know and love. At NEGACDV, we make sure they never have to face that choice alone.

Through emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis response, legal advocacy, and support services, NEGACDV helps survivors rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. We also understand that pets are family too, which is why we provide care and protection for the animals of survivors—ensuring that every member of the family finds safety together.

We also have the beautiful South Forest Station Thrift Store, which operates with a staff and volunteers who tirelessly work to keep the store well stocked with treasures for our guests to purchase, and all proceeds go to help the victim's needs and services.  All victims have the ability to restart building their lives with gently used household items and clothes, always without any monetary amount.  The staff here is eager to help and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure all items are available.
