Help Pugsley get the orthopedic elbow surgery to give him the pain-free life that he deserves!

$295

raised by 9 people

$5,600 goal

Pugsley is a sweet 3-year-old boy who couldn’t walk because he was frozen with fear and pain he arrived at the Fulton shelter in October.

Pugsley’s foster mom stepped up to help him and discovered why he was having problems walking. Pugsley had a previously dislocated front elbow that was never treated, leaving the elbow outside of the socket. Today, he walks with a limp, and the vet confirmed he is living with a good deal of pain. Pugsley is a young and active dog, he needs “open reduction” orthopedic surgery to put the elbow joint back in place and splint it so it can finally heal properly and regain full mobility with no pain.

Please help Pugsley get the surgery he needs so he can continue healing, physically and emotionally, and he ultimately live a pain free life and in a loving home where he feels loved and secure.

His foster mom reports that Pugsley is blossoming in his foster home. He loves his foster brothers, and is learning that humans can be safe and gentle. His emotional healing is happening and he is ready for the physical healing to begin, starting with his elbow surgery.

Time truly matters for Pugsley, and we need to raise funds for his surgery as soon as possible. The longer his leg stays in its current condition, the less likely the surgery will be successful.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings him closer to a pain-free life and the chance to run, play, and trust again. Your donation gives Pugsley the future he deserves!

LifeLine Animal Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission of ending the shelter euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals. Our goal is to keep people and pets together as we look at the root causes of animal homelessness and work with our community to provide accessible pet care and solutions throughout metro Atlanta.

We manage the Fulton and DeKalb Counties' animal shelters as well as our Community Animal Center, our headquarters, with a state-of-the-art shelter and full-service, low-cost veterinary clinic.

LifeLine Animal Project is a nationally lauded leader in animal welfare and the largest animal welfare organization in Georgia. Since its inception, LifeLine has taken a strategic approach to create a safety net for at-risk companion animals, both in our shelters and our community.
