Since its founding in 2002, LifeLine has provided lifesaving solutions to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals in county shelters and to keep pets with the owners who love them. The latter category of work became especially vital in 2020, as many pet owners dealt with illness and unemployment.
Our Pets for Life outreach team provided assistance with veterinary care, pet food and supplies in vulnerable communities. Our low-cost clinic at LifeLine's Community Animal Center, in its first year of operation, offers discounted and sometimes free veterinary care for those in need.
One thing stands out as we reflect back on 2020 and look ahead – we are better together.
Together, we kept over 4,000 families together when job losses threatened to tear them apart.
Together, we created over 8,000 new families through adoptions in the middle of a pandemic, when anyone benefits from the unconditional love of a pet.
Despite the challenges that we have all experienced this year, LifeLine continues to be the safety net for Atlanta's pets and the people who love them. This #GivingTuesday, a generous donor is doubling all donations, up to $25,000, so your donation will go even further!
