It began with an idea to have a public viewing of student art, especially artwork at the elementary and middle school levels. And, as the idea developed, a coloring book with art by children to children seemed the best avenue to send the art to another child. A message, so to speak, from a friend to another friend. A simple idea to pull together as an SCAA community project to work with art educators, students, artists and the other community organizations.
