Classrooms That Teach: Supporting Learning in Liberia
"Classrooms That Teach” is a transformative project focused on early childhood classrooms in Gbarpolu County and select schools in Montserrado County, Liberia. The goal is simple yet powerful: to redesign classrooms so they truly support learning.
Too often, we encounter schools with classrooms that are unsafe, overcrowded, and poorly equipped. Broken blackboards, bare walls, insufficient seating, and a lack of textbooks are just a few of the challenges. These environments do not support learning—they hinder it.
Redesigning classrooms ensures that all children have access to quality education. Flexible, well-arranged spaces allow children to explore, collaborate, and engage meaningfully with their environment. Teachers benefit too, using these spaces to reinforce concepts and foster deeper understanding.
Thanks to generous support, we’ve received donations of furniture, books, rugs, school supplies, and other essentials. In just one year, we successfully shipped three 40-foot containers to benefit schools in Liberia. However, we now face a critical challenge: storage. Without adequate space to store incoming donations, our ability to continue this work is at risk.
We need your help. Do you have a warehouse or storage space to donate? Could you contribute financially to help us rent one? No donation is too small. Every contribution brings us closer to classrooms that teach—and children who thrive.
Thank you for supporting this mission. All Children deserve conducive learning environments. Together we can redesign classrooms that support learning.
