About Us

The Teacher Consultant Group, Inc. (TCG) is a 501c3 nonprofit educational consulting practice that focuses on early childhood development with the help of the community, parents and children living in education emergency areas.

Our core values are:

• Early Childhood Development: experts at developing programs and delivering to all stakeholders in uplifting early childhood education to produce expert early childhood teachers and professionals.
• Commitment: to excellence and collaboration in executing our mission, vision and purpose of promoting early childhood development.
• Cultural Awareness: using the environment and resources in our engagement which enhances our culturally responsive teaching that connects the students with relevant lessons.

Mission Statement

TCG’s mission is to assist in identifying, designing and developing a viable early childhood educational system in education emergencies that is responsive to the needs of children, teachers, and communities, while utilizing best practices in collaboration with the community and stakeholders.

Vision Statement

TCG’s vision is to empower teachers to provide culturally relevant and responsive education in reading and writing across the curriculum, while ensuring a safe and secure environment that enables children to make choices, express themselves, manipulate and discover their environment. Teacher Consultant Group envisions that children will apply their learning to new situations in shaping their local, national and global communities.

Purpose Statement

TCG’s purpose is to support the development of inclusive and responsive early childhood programs in education emergencies—addressing the needs of teachers, children, and communities. Our work focuses on special projects such as professional development, literacy initiatives, resource centers, and the provision of essential learning materials.
