Help remove Contigo's growing mass, send it for testing, and give him the life that he deserves!

Contigo is a five-year-old sweet boy who landed in the Fulton shelter with a large mass on his chest. The mass is growing daily, the coloration is changing, and Contigo is carrying this literal weight on his chest everywhere he goes. His dedicated foster parents are giving this sweet boy a chance of living his best life without the baggage!

The shelter clinic did everything they could for him, but his mass is beyond what they are able to remove. An initial needle aspiration was performed, but the results came back inconclusive. The only way to know what this mass is — and to give Contigo a chance at a healthy future — is to remove it and send it off for full testing.

A veterinarian outside the shelter is willing to perform the surgery he needs. Contigo’s surgery date is already set for early 2026. He has a medical foster fully committed to supporting him through surgery and recovery — all he needs now is the financial help to make the surgery and testing happen.

Despite everything he’s been through, Contigo is the gentlest soul. He’s calm, sweet, and endlessly grateful for safety. He loves burying himself in leaf piles, digging his special little holes, and sunbathing for as long as you’ll let him.

Thank you for helping us give Contigo the best care and quality of life that he deserves!

About LifeLine Animal Project:

LifeLine Animal Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission of ending the shelter euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals. Our goal is to keep people and pets together as we look at the root causes of animal homelessness and work with our community to provide accessible pet care and solutions throughout metro Atlanta.

We manage the Fulton and DeKalb Counties' animal shelters as well as our Community Animal Center, our headquarters, with a state-of-the-art shelter and full-service, low-cost veterinary clinic.

LifeLine Animal Project is a nationally lauded leader in animal welfare and the largest animal welfare organization in Georgia. Since its inception, LifeLine has taken a strategic approach to create a safety net for at-risk companion animals, both in our shelters and our community. Thanks to the leadership and vision of LifeLine founder and CEO Rebecca Guinn, LifeLine has transformed how metro Atlanta cares for the most at-need animals in our city.
