Thank you for your support!

My name is Alan, and I’m 9 years old. I’m part of the River City Race Program, and I gotta tell you…this has been one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.

I got to build my own race car. Like for real—putting it together, learning how it works, and figuring out how to make it go faster. I didn’t know science had so much to do with racing, but now I understand how gravity helps my car move and why every little detail matters. It made me feel smart, like I’m really figuring stuff out.

We also went to the Atlanta Science Festival, and that was wild. I saw how engineering and science show up in everyday life, not just in school. It made me think bigger about what I can do in the future.

One of my favorite parts has been making new friends and working with our coaches. They’re not just coaches—they’re real engineers. They teach us, help us, and push us to be better. It makes me feel like I can be like them one day.

Right now, I’m focused on getting my car to top speed. I’m learning, testing, and making adjustments because I want to be crowned the 6th Annual River City Race Champion.

But more than anything… I’m doing this for my mom. I want to make her proud.

Thank you for supporting future leaders like me.
