TADA Foundation Inc

TADA Foundation focuses on dance education for three unique population groups: children with disabilities, seniors, and those training to be professional dancers. 

Since its inception, the foundation has awarded scholarships for dance education for pre-professional dance artists, children with disabilities, and children needing financial support to gain access to the arts. In its second year, the TADA Foundation launched a dance program specifically for children with developmental disabilities, and in 2022, a Dance Movement Therapy program for senior residents living at home and in assisted living facilities was added. 

TADA works to provide opportunities for children and adults with and without disabilities to experience the joy of movement through dance instruction & performance in Georgia. Dance, a vibrant form of artistic expression, is universally understood, brings people with diverse backgrounds together, and is beneficial for one’s mental and physical health. TADA Foundation has established itself as a vital community-based dance education center for all (regardless of age, income, ability, gender, or ethnicity).

In addition to being energizing for so many people, dance is an important type of physical activity that is often overlooked when one considers physical activity goals for themselves, or when assisting others in their goals. It is the intention of TADA Foundation to establish resources that will benefit the community. The purpose of this is to offer instruction in dance and to deliver performances through community-based settings both locally and globally, particularly to underserved populations - senior citizens, people from low socioeconomic status, and people with developmental disabilities.
