The Pedal Forward Foundation

The Pedal Forward Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering financially underprivileged youth by offering them opportunities to learn how to ride bicycles at no cost. We believe that the lack of a bike or helmet should not be a barrier to learning this essential skill, so we strive to provide donated bikes and helmets to kids who do not have their own.

We need your help to fund our programs and provide donated bikes and helmets to these underserved communities. Every dollar helps us empower more children with the confidence, independence, and joy that comes from learning to ride.

Pedal Forward was founded in Alpharetta, GA, by Jonathan Thai at age 16 as a sophomore in high school, and he continues to serve as the Executive Director. The organization has now grown to establish chapters in Tennessee and New York, serving disadvantaged youth nationwide.
