This Giving Tuesday, help Morningstar Arts Creative Project S.M.A.R.T (Studio's Making Art And Reproduction Textiles) continue to break down barriers and connect communities through the transformative power of virtual and hybrid art experiences.

The Challenge & Our Solution

In a world that still needs connection and accessible resources, Project S.M.A.R.T is the creative bridge. We've gone beyond post-COVID limitations to create a dynamic, virtual hub for free art and textile activities.

• Distance is History: Our virtual series is a lifeline for individuals and partner organizations who couldn't attend in-person due to travel distance, time conflicts, or mobility challenges.
• Essential Support: We provide much-needed, high-quality, and interactive creative programming for organizations across Georgia and the U.S. who may lack volunteer capacity or resources for specialized art projects.                           Donation Level Impact Snapshot
  

  $25	Supplies for one participant for a virtual textile art session.
  $75	Funds one hour of a professional Art Facilitator's time.
  $250	Covers the cost of preserving and storing an entire session’s unique art materials and tools.
  $1,000	Sponsors a full, free Project S.M.A.R.T virtual Open Studio for a community partner.

What We're Funding in 2025

1. Paying Our Artists: We are committed to fairly compensating the talented art facilitators who lead our interactive, safe-space activities.
2. Expanded Free Programming: We need resources to continue offering our free activities year-round, including our participation in the National Summer Learning Week and Arts in Education Initiatives.
3. Preservation & Tools: Donations will cover the essential, often-overlooked costs of material storage and preservation, ensuring that the unique textile and art materials—both produced and used—are maintained as valuable educational and display tools.          
   Collaboration and Connection   
   Morningstar Arts is dedicated to forging a "Visual Arts Collaboration" with fellow non-profits, social justice, wellness, and cultural groups. We are actively seeking matching grant opportunities to amplify the impact of every dollar you give.
