Since 1879, Georgia Military College has been transforming our students into effective leaders and engaged citizens, grounded in civility and respect for others. Our time-honored values of Duty, Honor, Country and Character Above All are imparted to those we serve.  Attending GMC is about more than earning a degree – our graduates are prepared to make a difference in the world.  

At GMC leadership is more than words on paper. Students develop the inner qualities that forge effective leaders and are also given opportunities to exercise leadership in their own spheres of influence – on the playground, in the classroom, on the sports fi eld, and in their communities. This sets GMC apart from other learning institutions and has been the core foundation of who we are as a school since 1879. As we look toward the future, leadership will continue to be the defining characteristic of a GMC graduate.

We ask for your support of the Legacy of Leadership Annual Fund, through Georgia Gives Day, so that GMC’s rich tradition of leadership can broaden in ways that will reach more individuals, through exciting new programs and initiatives that are on the horizon. Each year the Annual Fund is an avenue for alumni and community members to contribute resources to expand and enhance opportunities for our students above and beyond what tuition covers. The funds accumulated through your donations enable GMC to provide exceptional leadership training from kindergarten through college. Your generosity will allow graduates of Georgia Military College to continue their selfless service, and be prepared to lead with civility and integrity, grounded in the principles of Duty, Honor, Country and Character Above All!
