David-Nelson Tommy Nobis Center Fundraiser

I joined the Tommy Nobis Center Student Advisory Board because I genuinely care about helping people feel valued and included. I’ve seen how students with disabilities are sometimes misunderstood or left out, and I don’t think that should ever be the case. Everyone deserves the chance to learn, grow, and be part of something, no matter what challenges they face. Using my voice to support others, listening to what people need, and helping to create real opportunities is what I am to do. The mission of the Tommy Nobis Center—to empower people with disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives—means a lot to me. I’m not here just to say I support inclusion; I’m here to actually do something about it. Through this work, I hope to encourage others to care, step up, and make a difference too.
