Our mission began with a simple truth: our stories matter. The stories of our churches, our educators, our neighborhoods, our families, and the generations who built strength out of struggle—these stories deserve to be preserved, protected, and amplified.

For years, the Alliance has worked to uplift African American history and culture in Coweta County through education, preservation, community events, youth engagement, and advocacy. From supporting the restoration of sacred spaces like Farmer Street Cemetery, to providing youth with leadership programs that inspire pride and purpose, to hosting cultural celebrations that keep our heritage alive—the Alliance is committed to making sure our community’s voice is never lost.
