We’re a local non-profit (501c#) organization working with underprivileged student-athletes and their families. The goal is to help these student-athletes reach their next level of success by removing barriers of privilege or socio-economic disadvantages, so they can achieve their dreams of playing college football and earning a degree.
We believe a great student-athlete makes an event better human being!
The foundation for everything we do revolves around character-building. We seek to create the Leaders Of Tomorrow- Great husbands, fathers, employers, employees, coworkers, friends. We achieve this through our personal mentorship, and most importantly through community service. Our motto is “We Rise By Lifting Others!”
NxtLvl Scouts provides support and fosters opportunities to give student-athletes the chance to earn a college scholarship and play at the next level by creating a level playing field, regardless of background or socio-economic status. Our foundation is built on 3 pillars: Academics, Athletics, and Character. We achieve this through Our Unique Purpose . . . Young Athletes Giving Back to Their Community. This cause is very important to our organization because we believe a great student-athlete makes an even better person. Our goal is to create positive change and leave this world a better place by impacting today’s youth!! “We Rise By Lifting Others!!!”
I’d like to take a few minutes to once again share a little JOY we all need…NxtLvl Scouts is starting Year 4 since its inception, and to-date:
Class of '23 - 1 Recruit playing @ Louisville (D1 FBS)
Class of '24 - 9 Recruits, All 9 playing on some sort of scholarship (3 playing D1 FBS)
Class of '25 - 11 Recruits, 7 playing on some sort of scholarship (3 playing D1 FBS)
Class of '26 - 10 Recruits, 9 already have offers... 1 of the Recruits has risen to become the #1 Wide Receiver in all of Georgia High School football and will be playing next year @ Texas A&M!!
Class of '27 - 6 Recruits, 4 already have offers
We all know football generates an exorbitant amount of revenue in this country, included in that is anywhere from $7K-$12K each high school recruit and their family come out-of-pocket for in expenses related to the recruiting process alone. As a result, many gifted athletes will simply not have an opportunity to get the proper exposure due to financial struggles.
But what’s even sadder, is that they also miss out on a chance for a better life in the opportunity to go to college, earn a degree, and set themselves up for the future.
This is a huge reason why this cause is so important to our organization, because we believe a great student-athlete makes an even better person. Our goal is to create positive change and leave this world a better place by impacting today’s youth.
This is an elite group of young student athletes who seek to change the world for the better and create futures for themselves and those around them by being servant leaders of integrity, passion, and living by The Golden Rule. The goal is to create positive change and leave this world a better place for our children and beyond by impacting today’s youth who will be tomorrow’s leaders!!
I am going into year four and have sacrificed earning a salary as well as committed personal funds to make sure this organization gets up off its feet and is able to show its worth in helping kids and their families. Now that I have done that, it is imperative that I make it through this year with progress in showing at least the ability cover expenses without personally having to come out of pocket. That said, this grant could be that blessing. Though I don’t anticipate drawing a salary again this year, if I have the ability to earn this grant then I could meet all my financial expectations to take care of close to 30 student-athletes in the coming Year 5.
Having a positive impact on youth is vital for shaping future leaders, breaking cycle of negativity, building a strong society, addressing social issues, fostering resilience, and ensuring a sustainable future. Investing in the well-being and development of young people is an investment in the betterment of society as a whole.
My passion boils over for this, and what drives me is to see smiles on some of these kids faces and their families knowing they are not alone.
MY DREAM...To see our recruits be 1 of 32 NFL Teams’ annual nomination for the Walter Payton Man Of The Year Award. Obviously, receiving a college scholarship, earning a degree, and getting drafted into the NFL are imperative, but would also have already occurred to get to this point. If you are familiar with the Award, then that would be the ultimate joy in solidifying our purpose!
