Meet one of our participants: Jessica!

Jessica, a 37-year-old single mom and caregiver to her late father, dreamed of becoming a nurse. After surviving a difficult divorce and near-eviction, she enrolled in college, but her final semester brought unexpected job loss and the threat of foreclosure.

HOPE Inc. provided emergency rent and food support, helped keep her family stable, and gave her the chance to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2025. Her son saw her cross the stage and she became a first-generation college graduate

With inflation rising, SNAP benefits at risk, and utility bills surging, families like Jessica’s can’t wait for hope. They need it now.

That’s why this Give 828, HOPE Inc. is rallying to raise $10,000 to keep single parents and their children housed, fed, and in school.

Let’s show them they’re not alone.
