Uncertainty and challenges have begun to affect the fate of federal funding for biking, walking, and rolling. But Georgians can’t afford for our work to slow down!
Go Georgia has been helping secure critical grants for safer streets and more trails. From Georgia’s first-ever statewide Active Transportation Plan to our new Grants Assistance Program (GAP), we’ve created direct access to funding as we continue the hard work of making our communities safer for everyone.
This year, we’re calling on our supporters to help us keep Georgia moving forward, no matter what happens. Your gift helps us defend funding for local projects, train communities to access new grants, and ensure that Georgia’s most vulnerable road users aren’t forgotten.

Empower local leaders: Expand our Grants Assistance Program to help cities and counties secure funding.
Educate and mobilize: Bring communities together through outreach, safety classes, and our 2026 Georgia Bike-Walk-Live Summit.
Defend our movement: Advocate for state-level and regional programs that fill gaps if federal dollars decline, and keep active transportation on the agenda, no matter who holds the purse strings.
