When Mercy Said No met Racheal, a devoted mother and member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ede, Nigeria, she was battling rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. The illness had drained her strength and her hope, leaving her unsure of what the future held.
Through the support of our mission partners and donors, Racheal received vital medical attention and emotional support during one of the hardest times of her life. Surrounded by compassion, care, and prayer, she began to see light again.
In her own words:
“Your presence in my life during this hard and challenging period has made me alive today. You gave me hope to survive this tough time. I am grateful for the wonderful people and team who came to my rescue. My being alive is because I have you as my backbone and supporter.”
Racheal’s story is one of many that reminds us why Mercy Said No exists—to reach people who have nowhere else to turn and to restore hope where it’s fading.
Mercy Said No since it's inception as touched over 70,000 lives. During our 2025 mission trip, we were able to impact the lives of over 4700 individuals, with close to 250,000medications dispensed, 81 cataract surgeries and about 1870+ glasses dispensed.
Your donation helps us continue this life-changing work—providing access to medical care, medications, and compassionate support for people like Racheal across Africa.
Together, we can bring healing, hope, and dignity to many more lives.
