Giving Tuesday 2026 | December 1 (Early Donations Beginning November 16)
Every great performance begins long before the first note. It begins with a student showing up.
For the 57 young musicians of the Buford Highway Orchestra Program, getting to class twice a week requires dedication not only from our students, but from the families who make their musical journeys possible.
For many families in DeKalb County's Cross Keys school community, transportation presents a significant barrier to extracurricular opportunities. Work schedules, limited access to vehicles, and the cost of reliable transportation can make even a free music program difficult to attend.
Last Giving Tuesday, our supporters raised $2,300, and 100% of those donations went directly toward transportation assistance.
This year, we're aiming higher.
Our goal: $5,000 to help meet a full year of transportation needs for our orchestra families.
