Hope for Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors

“When I was first diagnosed in July 2024 with Triple Negative Breast Cancer I felt like my entire world had been turned upside down. The months after my diagnosis were a whirlwind of appointments, scans, treatment, and figuring out how to manage all of this with two small daughters, an amazing husband trying to hold it all together, and continuing to thrive in my career. 

Flash forward to the other side of 17 rounds of chemo, and a double mastectomy I was finally starting to accept my new normal, and one day during my appointment with my plastic surgeon she recommended TurningPoint. Little did I know that referral would provide much needed relief, and a connection to a community that I didn’t know I needed.

Breast cancer is an unpredictable journey - a whirlwind - and so often patients feel like they don't know where to turn. In fact, rehabilitation is not commonly recommended, despite the research and data that shows how beneficial it is.
