📖 Books and Bonds: Reading Forward, Together
Books and Bonds began with a simple belief: that every child deserves the joy of being read to — and the power of being seen. In classrooms across metro Atlanta, volunteers sit side by side with students, sharing stories that spark imagination, build confidence, and nurture connection.
What started as a lunchtime reading program has grown into a movement rooted in literacy, mentorship, and love. Our volunteers return week after week, forming bonds that go beyond the pages — reminding children they matter, their stories matter, and their futures are worth investing in.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Books and Bonds is entirely volunteer-run. We rely on community support to provide diverse books, bilingual materials, book carts, and welcoming spaces where students can thrive. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to help us read forward — together.
