In the past, the members of GAPC have brightened the holidays for the families who are then staying at the 24-hour emergency shelter (Hagar's House) run by Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM) by bringing food, gifts and gift cards for those families. But this year, we are excited to announce that we have the opportunity to do MUCH MORE!!
This year, GAPC has set up a donor site where our members can contribute, and all of our funds can be pooled so that DCM can use the total funds raised for a major purchase such as an appliance or furniture for the transitional housing program! By pooling our funds together, our holiday gift will have a lasting impact in the years ahead for many lives!
Our donor site is live right now and will stay up until Tuesday, December 3rd, which is "Giving Tuesday." Please donate today and together, we can make a HUGE IMPACT!!
