Inspire Future Environmental Leaders

With your generosity, you can inspire future environmental leaders. The Birds Georgia Scholarship Fund allows us to provide need-based scholarships for Birds Georgia's youth and adult education programs.

Birds Georgia values the diversity of birds and people, but we recognize that our program participants often do not represent the diversity of our surrounding communities. As part of our efforts to dismantle the systemic exclusion of communities underrepresented in birding and natural sciences, we are establishing the Birds Georgia Scholarship Fund to cover the cost of program participation for individuals and groups for whom cost is a burden.

These scholarships will be applicable to all Birds Georgia programs for which there is an associated fee, including but not limited to Georgia Urban Ecologists, Taking Wing, school programs and webinars and workshops. Birds Georgia is committed to creating educational opportunities that inspire and engage people of diverse backgrounds in conservation by instilling an appreciation for birds and the natural world.
