Abortion is essential healthcare, 365 days a year, during a pandemic, during an uprising for racial justice, during an important election year, and especially during an economic crisis. Many things have changed during 2020, but the need for compassionate accessible abortion care has not. We need you by our side again!
Feminist Women's Health Center is a Black-led reproductive health, rights and justice organization in Atlanta, Georgia. We provide safe, affordable and compassionate abortion and gynecological care to all who need it without judgment. We are the only non-profit, locally-based organization in Georgia that directly provides reproductive health services, while also protecting reproductive rights and promoting reproductive justice through organizing and advocacy. While 2020 has been a challenging year, we are proud of our accomplishments including:
1) Providing uninterrupted safe abortion care in the face of the pandemic;
2) Pivoting to virtual organizing, movement building and advocacy efforts;
3) Providing over $20,000 in mutual aid support through our Lifting Latinx Voices Initiative program;
4) Participating in voter engagement including text and phone-banking to increase voter participation in a critical election year.
We have been able to do adapt and thrive despite the challenges in 2020 because of donors like you, and we need your help to keep the momentum going into 2021. With your donation we’ll be able to keep pace with providing safe abortion care during the pandemic and keep our movement building efforts strong.
