This year at Tommy Nobis Center has been incredible! I've had the privilege to work with amazing community leaders and support young adults with disabilities reach their goals in an empowering environment by creating a pathway for meaningful employment and independence.
Our Impact:
- Early Youth Employment Services (EYES): Supported 1,200 students from 54 schools!
- ConNect Events: Connected 386 youth with disabilities and their families to essential resources.
- Programs: Over 200 students attended our Summer and School Break programs.
- Academy Success: 100% job placement for Cohort 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Cohort 8 is now underway!
The Tommy Nobis Center is committed to closing the unemployment gap for people with disabilities, who are facing an unemployment rate of 12.3%. We’re working to create equal access to job opportunities by raising awareness and shifting mindsets.
