The Farm at Good Sam sits on the property of The Good Samaritan Health Center. Our operation and location help provide easier access to fresh, affordable food for our patients and community. Our market is closed on Fridays, but the clinic is open for our weekly free clinic. We call this day Friday Clinic.
Friday Clinic is extremely special to the staff here at Good Sam. We started this program about 8 years ago with the hope that we can help our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness by providing them with access to all of our services on a single day each week. Each patient receives a complete medical, dental, and mental health assessment. After a thorough evaluation, a tailored treatment plan is then mapped out. They also receive any necessary medications, a free meal, and a hygiene kit including many helpful toiletry items. I am helping Good Sam to reach their Giving Tuesday goal of raising $50,000! #GiveGoodFridays
