Sar for Georgians for a Healthy Future

Health care is a right, not a privilege. 

As an ER doctor, I treat patients every day who are struggling with their health, housing, food security, low wages, and low levels of education. As the American city with the most income inequality, many Atlantans (and Georgians on the whole) are being left behind by the top 10%. You can't achieve at school if you don't know where your next meal is coming from. You can't invest in managing your health - taking blood pressure medicine and eating healthy - if you can't afford rent. These are just some of the issues that Georgians for a Healthy Future is working to rectify.  

As the state's preeminent nonpartisan health advocacy organization, GHF is continually fighting for all Georgians, especially those who are most under-resourced (low-income, people of color, LGBTQ+, etc.). Expanding Medicaid is still a goal but we understanding that it's only one step in improving the health of every single Georgian.
