Summer Youth Program

Raintree Village Children and Family Services has been caring for orphaned, neglected and abused children for over fifty years!  It began in 1967 when a group of godly men and women saw the need for a Children’s Home in Dasher, Georgia where the “fatherless” could be cared for and loved in a Christian environment.

Our campus is currently home to 20 teens who thrive when their minds are engaged. We have searched all over the local area for summer programs that would keep the teens involved and engaged for more than a week during the summer months and have come up empty handed. 
As an organization we have decided to give our youth the summer program they deserve beginning right here on our campus. We will be getting them out of their cottages and engaging them in some of our campus facilities. They will have the opportunity to create amazing crafts, learn with interactive group science projects, learn life skills such as gardening, cooking, self care, financial literacy and so many other great things. We have also planned some local trips out in the community and several that surpass the local area such as day trips to attractions in surrounding cities.
