Facing a pandemic is difficult, confusing and frightening.  Facing a pandemic with a brain injury can mean not being prepared with essential supplies, not having access to transportation, not being able to plan enough to take advantage of community offerings, not having a direct care person available for basic household help and a cognitive challenge in managing this ongoing curveball. There is never a more important time to provide support to our brain-injury community. 

Honestly, I'm missing the community at Side by Side - the staff and the members! Being home 24/7 is especially tough on our folks that live alone or in group homes. That's why I'm doing a second fundraiser this year to ask people to give if they can.  Normally, I wouldn't ask for $$$ twice in a year but these times aren't normal. If you gave already in November - thanks. If you didn't get around to it, will you join me and donate? Even if you give $5, that'll give us a hand (see what I did there?)!
