Habitat for Humanity, Dekalb (HFHD) has been servicing the housing needs for Dekalb county, Ga residents since 1988. Our mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities and most importantly hope. We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Through our various programs we promote dignity and hope by supporting sustainable and transformational development.

HFHD strives to make homeownership affordable. We provide our family partners with the education and support to be successful homeowners.  By actively partnering with the families in the program, we are provide a hand-up, instead of a handout. We also provide home repairs to seniors and veterans in DeKalb County, Georgia.

Dekalb county has huge senior and veteran populations who, due to varying factors, are living in homes in need of desperate repair. The needs are endless but unfortunately our resources are not. These people have served our country, been leaders in the community, taught our children and everything in between. For many, their homes represent their success, their hard work, and their legacy.

We have many repair requests pending. We want to help more seniors age in their homes safely, and we want to be able to assist our veterans. Our campaign goal of $7000 will greatly help us move forward on these critical repairs.
