The parent-led, nonprofit Garrison Mill Education Foundation (GMEF) delivers hands-on experiences for our students in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. 

The integrated approach known as STEAM is the primary cause supported by the Garrison Mill Education Foundation. STEAM is a way to see the world in a more interconnected way that sparks curiosity, imagination and discovery.

GMEF supports students, families and teachers through hands-on experiences and initiatives like:

• Robots in the STEM Lab
• Teacher development
• Science Olympiad team
• Garrison Mill Learning Garden and Trail
• FEAST Clubs (Foundation Enrichment After-School Time)
• Grants for art and music teachers
• Publix Math Night and Fine Arts Night
