Investing in the Corridor We Call Home

Buford Highway has always been held together by neighbors. By the people who walk these sidewalks every day, open their shops before sunrise, raise children here, and share food across tables and cultures. This corridor survives and grows because neighbors choose to care for one another.

At We Love Buford Highway, that belief guides everything we do.

Through our Feeding Families program, we support local households facing the most severe food and health related needs. Each week and throughout the year, families receive culturally relevant groceries and connections to wellness resources that respect who they are and how they live. This is not charity from afar. It is consistent, relationship based care that protects dignity and strengthens the fabric of the corridor.

Every dollar raised goes directly back into this work. Groceries, logistics, and partnerships keep our neighbors nourished and stable. This is hyper local community development in its most human form, investing in the people who make Buford Highway home.

And this work is growing.

In 2026, we are working toward serving 860 families across the corridor. That is 860 households supported through culture, care, and community infrastructure built by neighbors who refuse to look away. It is ambitious, but Buford Highway has never waited for permission to take care of its own.

When you give, you are not donating to an abstract cause. You are investing in the block you walk, the businesses you visit, the families who share this place with you. This is what place based care looks like. Neighbors choosing each other, again and again.

Right here on Buford Highway, where community has always been our strongest currency.
