January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and it's a time to come together and raise awareness about this devastating issue. Human trafficking is a crime that affects people of all ages, genders, and nationalities. It can take many forms, including labor trafficking, sex trafficking, and exploitation of children. Approximately 374 girls are commercially sexually exploited in Georgia each month.
It's important to understand that human trafficking is happening all around us, and it's up to us to take action to prevent it. That's why we're inviting you to join us in participating in a human trafficking awareness campaign, “It Stops with You” for the month of January.
Here are some ways you can get involved:
1. We encourage you to educate yourself and others about this important issue by attending a virtual presentation on human trafficking, hosted by a local anti-trafficking organization

2. Wear a blue ribbon or bracelet to show your support for the campaign, “It Stops with You”.
3. Share information about human trafficking on social media using the hashtag #itstopswithyou #EndTrafficking #projectstop #humantraffickingawareness

Your gift of $50 or any amount will help us to raise awareness about this important issue and provide high school girls and teens with prevention education. As well as provide support to educate the public and advocate for policies that help prevent trafficking from occurring.
