Cultures Connect through Art!

The mission of the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) has always been to nurture, guide, and stimulate participation in the arts in the community. On November 29th, help the CAC give the gift of Arts Education to the youth of Douglasville. The CAC is raising money to help fund Art Education Initiatives around Douglas County. These programs positively impact the lives of young people by teaching creativity, problem-solving, and cognitive ability. While at the same time providing a platform for self-expression and discovery.

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County helps Arts Education in Douglasville in a variety of ways! Our ARTsventures program is a FREE program of live performances for all ages. Meant to share educational concepts through creative live entertainment! This past October we had a Chinese History & Dance demonstration by the talented Atlanta Chinese Dance Company. Part of our Public Art program is the Free Art Box located right outside the Art Center. Inspired by "Little Free Libraries" and Free Pantries, we provide free art supplies and small pieces to the community through this box. The CAC also provides Art Camps in the Spring and Summer months. Local Artists and CAC staff lead campers through various art projects and activities in line with our Mission & Vision.
