Marlborough Movers and Shakers

When I visited Helping Mamas, I was heartbroken by the stories of families forced to choose between food, diapers, or feminine hygiene products. As a woman and grandmother, this issue hits close to home.

Women lose jobs when they can't send their children to daycare due to a lack of diapers. Young girls miss school during their periods because they don't have access to hygiene products, causing them to fall behind. These are avoidable hardships.

Helping Mamas supports over 150 agencies across metro Atlanta, providing essential supplies to keep families afloat. They also collaborate with legislators and manufacturers to distribute surplus items. There’s a lot of hard work happening behind the scenes.

Each year, they host a major diaper drive and fundraiser. This year’s drive ends September 27th, so I’m late to the game and I’m asking for your help.
