The Atlanta Office is excited to support Georgia Justice Project as a part of our commitment to promote racial and social equity in our Atlanta community and beyond in our inaugural 5KM Challenge for Change.
The challenge
The 5km Challenge for Change is a virtual community event initiated by Bain & Company to bring together colleagues, friends, and families to support a good cause through donations for every 5KM of running, walking or cycling.
The rules of the game are simple:
1. Run, cycle, or walk 5KM in whatever setting that works for you. Track your performance here.
2. Donate to GJP on this campaign page (suggested donation: $15-$25, or whatever is a meaningful contribution for you.)
3. Nominate 5+ people (colleagues, friends, family, neighbors, etc.) to do the same by sharing the link to this campaign page via email or tagging the official global Instagram page, @5KMChallengeforchange, and clicking the Instagram bio link to access local campaign pages directly.
About GJP
Georgia Justice Project’s mission is to strengthen our community by demonstrating a better way to represent and support individuals in the criminal justice system and reduce barriers to reentry into the community. GJP’s work touches every aspect of the criminal justice continuum with two goals:
1. Reduce the number of Georgians under correctional control (that is, people in jail / prison or on probation / parole)
2. Reduce reentry barriers for formerly-incarcerated and justice-involved Georgians
