Fall into Impact: Strengthening Our Community

At Columbia County Community Connections (CCCC), we know that a child can only thrive when their whole family and surrounding community are supported, safe, and connected. That’s why our work goes beyond single-focus programs to offer a whole-family, whole-community safety net.

From protecting toddlers on the road and guiding students through academic enrichment, to helping parents navigate crisis resources, fostering teen workforce readiness, and bringing neighbors together for community stability, our mission is to ensure no family in Columbia County stands alone.

This fall, as we lead up to GivingTuesday, our goal is to raise $7,500 to sustain and expand these essential youth, family, and community connection initiatives across Columbia County.

Your Dollars at Work:

1. $25 — Emergency Family Packs

• Provides an immediate safety net for local families navigating sudden crises, job loss, or displacement. Each pack is stocked with essential personal hygiene items, emergency supplies, shelf-stable nutritional goods, and direct contact guides for community support services across Columbia County.

2. $30 — Child Car Safety Seats

• Purchases a brand-new, certified child car seat or booster seat for a young family in need. Every seat is provided alongside hands-on installation education from certified child passenger safety technicians to ensure infants and toddlers travel safely on local roads.

3. $50 — Student Learning Kits

• Equips elementary students enrolled in the Dream Academy with hands-on STEM activity kits, age-appropriate books, creative art supplies, and essential academic materials. These resources bridge the learning gap during summer and after-school enrichment hours.

4. $100 — Youth Mental Health Kits

• Powers mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and emotional resilience workshops for local middle and high school students through initiatives like Resilient Teens. Covers student workbooks, coping toolkits, certified curriculum materials, and trained peer-facilitator guides.

5. $250 — Teen Job Prep & Stipends

• Sponsors a high school student participating in Camp SWE4T (Summer Work Experience 4 Teens). Funds professional development materials, workplace readiness training, interview coaching, resume prep, and financial stipends for real-world job placements.

6. $500 — Student Scholarships

• Provides seed funding and direct financial awards for local graduating seniors through youth achievement initiatives like the Ethan Noah Scholarship and Ryan Clark Scholarship, helping student leaders cover college expenses, vocational training, or post-secondary supplies.
