Education liberates the intellect, unlocks the imagination, and is fundamental for self-respect. It is the key to prosperity and opens a world of opportunities, making it possible for each of us to contribute to a progressive, healthy society. Learning benefits every human being and should be available to all.
The overall purpose of the project is to respond to the problem of poverty, gender inequality, and unemployment by providing training and capacity-building interventions in financial literacy and entrepreneurship development to women and youths. The project will also provide “train-the-trainer" capacity building to about 300 College Graduates who will assist in training youths and women in their respective places of primary assignment.
The project represents youths and women-specific initiatives to address gender inequalities in the small enterprise sector and proffers solutions to youths’ unemployment in the targetted poor socio-economic environment
At the end of the project, we envisage that within one year, about 2,100 youths and women would have acquired the financial literacy, vocational and entrepreneurial skills needed to be self-employed, and to create sustainable employment for others within the first year.
Help us to meet this goal for our target audience who resides within a poor socio-economic environment.
