Live Arts Theatre is so much more than a theatre. It's home. It's a family. It's completely changing the world through great theatre.

At Live Arts, we have a catchphrase that you will hear if you hang out with us for any length of time. It's "challenge accepted!". Be it putting on a great show, finding a way to include people who for whatever reason had not been included before, or adapting our plans to deal with unforeseen circumstances, Live Arts does this with a smile. 

Those of you who know me, know I dream big and I also go hard at making those dreams a reality. This year has been challenging as I have led our LAT family through continuing to search for a permanent home for the theatre while moving into our temporary home at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, and creating the structure to allow us to continue to thrive and grow as we serve our community. In addition, Andre and I have worked incredibly hard to bring in person theatre back with our most ambitious season yet. This is on top of the advocacy and work we do to make sure that every human being we encounter feels seen and knows that there is a place in our community, in our world, for them and their unique story.

The funds I raise will go toward the costs associated with finding and building out a new permanent space for Live Arts, general operating/season costs that keep the theatre running, and raising enough money to finally pay our Artistic Directors for the tireless work they do for our community.

This year, my goal is particularly meaningful, as it represents the amount of money we have to replace due to the elimination of funds we had previously been awarded due to our commitment to the practice of radical inclusion and embracing our diverse community. At Live Arts, y'all truly means ALL so I want to raise $6,000 for the present and future.

33% of whatever I raise will go toward this season.
33% will go toward our 26-27 Anniversary season.
33% will go toward our long term strategic goals of a permanent facility and salaries.

So please, give what you can, and help us say "challenge accepted!" as we continue changing the world for years to come.

Please donate to Live Arts Theatre, a 501c3 nonprofit theatre. Donations may be tax deductible, check with your tax preparer. All donations will go towards the theatre in general to cover operating expenses as well as strategic goals so we can continue to produce amazing shows while we find and build out a new permanent space where all will not only be welcome, but celebrated.
