I’m honored to share that I’ve been nominated for MANRRS 40 Under 40!

This award was created to recognize trailblazers who grow with MANRRS, and it celebrates rising professionals under 40 making a powerful impact across agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.

This recognition is deeply meaningful to me, and I would be remiss not to acknowledge the impact MANRRS has had on my journey.

As George Washington Carver said, “No individual has any right to come into the world and go out of it without leaving behind him distinct and legitimate reasons for having passed through it.”

I joined MANRRS during my undergraduate years at Southern University and A&M College, and the organization has played a foundational role in my development as a leader and professional. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in leadership capacities at both the local and national levels.

MANRRS has provided me with leadership opportunities, professional development, speaking engagements, and knowledge that have shaped both my career and service. In return, I’ve remained committed to giving back through mentoring, recruiting, and conference support—helping advance opportunities for students, professionals, and communities nationwide.

This recognition is not just a personal milestone; it reflects the power of mentorship, community, and organizations like MANRRS that invest in people and purpose.

Being named a MANRRS 40 Under 40 honoree is more than recognition—it is a call to action.

Each honoree has committed to contributing to the collective impact of MANRRS’ Annual Giving Campaign, with a goal of raising or contributing $1,000 in support of MANRRS’ mission. Together, the 40 honorees aim to raise $40,000 to directly advance opportunities for students, professionals, and communities nationwide.

This shared investment helps fuel scholarships, leadership training, mentorship, and workforce development programs that prepare the next generation of talent.
