Southwest Atlanta is home to many hardworking families who face staggering challenges every day. Nearly 36% of Black households in Atlanta have zero net worth, leaving them without a financial cushion to manage emergencies or basic needs. This stark reality, coupled with systemic issues like racial income gaps and generational poverty, traps families in cycles of hardship that are incredibly difficult to break.
At the Peter Uba Foundation, we are deeply committed to supporting these families. In collaboration with The City of South Fulton and The Metro Atlanta Food Bank, we work tirelessly to distribute food and provide essential resources to those in need. These efforts aim to address not only immediate hunger but also the root causes of economic disparity in our community.
This 2024 GA Gives campaign and Giving Tuesday, we ask for your help in uplifting Southwest Atlanta's most vulnerable residents. Your donation will help feed families, bring relief to children, and offer hope to those struggling to make ends meet.
Your contribution isn’t just financial—it’s a message that these families are not alone. It’s a stand against the systemic inequities that have persisted for far too long. Whether large or small, every donation goes directly toward making a meaningful impact.
Please join us in this critical effort. Visit our website at www.peterubafoundation.org to learn more and contribute to changing lives in Southwest Atlanta.
Together, we can ensure no family is left behind. Donate today to make a difference that matters.
