Black Art, Culture & Education, Inc. (BACE) is a grassroots, Black-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing culturally specific, healing-centered, and justice-rooted education for youth in historically underserved communities. Located in the heart of DeKalb County on Panthersville Road, we serve children and teens ages 4 to 18, many of whom face poverty, trauma, systemic neglect, and educational inequities.
We are requesting monetary and/or in-kind donations to support our youth empowerment programming, with a focus on STEAM education, social-emotional learning (SEL), performing arts, and facility upgrades to ensure a safe, inspiring, and functional space where youth can thrive.
To provide safe and high-quality programming, we seek support for:
Community Garden for sustainability and wellness learning.
Basketball/tennis/volleyball/soccer court renovations for physical activity and team-building.
Dance and music studio renovations (mirrors, floors, sound equipment).
Classroom upgrades: smart whiteboards, flexible learning furniture, and tile flooring.
Outdoor play structures, bookshelves, and creative learning zones.
