Help us help Veterans

Our primary goal at The PEACH Pit is to provide affordable, low cost mental health counseling to all clients. One segment of our population is Veterans. Sadly, a Department of Veterans Affairs report indicates that about 20 Veterans commit suicide daily. We want to do our part to prevent those deaths.

To that end, our Horsepower and Heroes Retreat for women is all inclusive three-day outdoors retreat at our farm in Georgia. 

Our Veterans have seen and heard things no one should see or hear. They may not reach out for help because they view seeking help as weak. Our motto is “Come join us at the barn,” and that’s our draw. Coming to The PEACH Pit for a session with our horses has a different feel, a different meaning, a different result. We offer help without the stigma.

Our funding has allowed us to host only one free retreat a year, and we thank you so much for helping us have our next retreat for women Veterans. While there are many retreats for Veterans, most are for men. This one is specifically for the women Veterans, who often seem invisible to society.

The Horsepower and Heroes Retreat for women Veterans and will have a maximum of 15 participants. This intense yet relaxing experiential weekend is for women and staffed by women.

• Individual Accelerated Resolution Therapy sessions
• Individual Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions
