Nakia and her two daughtersNakia's life took an unexpected and devastating turn when she lost both of her parents at the young age of 30, within one month of each other. The weight of this immense grief was crushing, and she was forced to take a medical leave from work to cope with her loss.

She began to fall behind on her rent and bills. The looming threat of eviction hung over her family, bills piled up, compounded by the responsibility of caring for her younger siblings.

With only one semester left before graduation, she really needed support, and people like YOU gave it to her!

Supporters, were able to step in and cover Nakia's rent, ensuring she and her two girls would not face eviction.

We also offered her emotional support through licensed counselors to help navigate the tumultuous waters of grief, single parenthood, and continuing her education.

Nakia's story is a testament to the incredible resilience that single parents demonstrate in the face of adversity. However, they can't do it alone.

WHAT IF THERE WAS NO HOPE?

Nakia was able to graduate in January of 2023 with her Associates in Healthcare Administration without loosing her apartment because someone like you cared.

This Giving Tuesday you can make a profound impact!  Here's how you can make a difference:

A $23 donation gives a day of support to a single parent family.

A $100 donation sponsors one week of childcare for a single parent family.

A $200 donation covers two weeks of groceries and gas for a single parent.

A $400 donation supports one month of shelter for a single parent family.

We need you today to carry on the mission and support our families.

We can’t do it without you!

Will you give HOPE today?
