Creating Connected Communities

A nonprofit organization

Creating Connected Communities (CCC) is an Atlanta nonprofit dedicated to supporting children experiencing hardship and empowering teens to become compassionate community leaders.

Each year, CCC serves thousands of children and families and provides hundreds of hands-on volunteer opportunities for teens across Atlanta. Through joyful programming—filled with activities, celebration, and care—we ensure participants not only receive essential resources like meals, books, and personal care items, but also feel part of a connected and caring community.

Our programming includes:

  • Social-emotional support
  • Arts & crafts
  • Sports and games
  • STEAM activities
  • Academic support and tutoring

CCC’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) engages 315+ Jewish teens (grades 8–12) in monthly training and service. Teens learn and practice leadership while volunteering directly in CCC programs throughout the year.

The LDP curriculum focuses on:

  • Community-building and Jewish leadership

  • Empathy-driven volunteering

  • Fundraising and advocacy

  • Program planning and implementation
