Divine Smiles Preventive Dental Services

Many Georgia residents view dental healthcare as a luxury they simply cannot afford. This results in a lack of regular dental care, due to a variety of factors including unreliable transportation, lack of dental insurance, and limited knowledge of the importance of oral health. Georgia's Medicaid/Medicare plans offer limited dental care coverage for adults. This results in many adults not seeking routine preventive dental health services, which can lead to more serious oral health issues down the road.

Divine Smiles Preventive Dental Services is here to change that. Our mission is to make preventive dental care services accessible to low-income, uninsured metro Atlanta residents by eliminating geographical and socio-economic barriers to preventive dental healthcare. We practice mobile dentistry by bringing portable equipment to low-income communities that have limited or no access to preventive dental healthcare.

Our registered dental hygienist provides preventive dental hygiene services such as fluoride application, sealant placement, dental prophylaxis cleaning, and oral hygiene instructions and counseling. We offer referrals to the supervising dentist or to a local community dental health provider for routine follow-up dental care, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need.

Our goal is to improve oral health literacy and increase accessibility to preventive dental services, ultimately reducing the burden of oral disease.
