Your Soul Care Community, Inc.

Dear Supporters and Friends,

We live during a time where people are leaving their faith communities at alarming rates and we simply wanted to know why and what did they really need.  The answer was simple: they want to be accepted and they wanted to be heard.  When we realized this in 2016, this curiosity became our inspiration to create safe spaces for all people to experience spirituality in non-traditional ways and without judgement.

Your Soul Care Community, Inc. (YSCC) was created where we gathered in a room of ten people to simply have a conversation about faith.  And since that Friday evening, we have met every month with the intention of journeying alongside others who desire to become whole and live their best life.  This includes a variety of programming that spans all populations including but not limited to youth, seniors, LGBTQ+, in small and large settings.  To date, our community has engaged hundreds of people and we have become a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Since its inception thanks to our generous donors and volunteers each month we create spaces where individuals are able to walk out their faith via conversation.  We have witnessed individuals from various backgrounds empathize and share stories of hope, love and despair all while meeting each other where they are.  We are truly blessed to watch so many people healed from past trauma and now on the journey to wholeness.

YSCC also hosts an annual engagement opportunity where champions in the field of diversity, care and faith converse candidly with community members at The Soul Care Experience.  Your Soul Care Companion Podcast has also been a way to document the faith stories of many of our community members who are committed to the work.

Our work reminds us we shouldn’t turn our back on anyone, but we consider it a call to action to meet each person exactly where they are.  We couldn’t have done this important charitable work without the support of our generous donors, dedicated volunteers, valuable partners, board members, and staff.
