We believe that Building Tomorrow's Women In Tech means we are creating a more equitable environment, giving voice to new ideas, creating a more inclusive industry, and creating brighter futures for the next generation.  

Building Tomorrow’s Women In Tech bridges the gender & equality divide in the sector. We need women in the board rooms and around the proverbial table just as much as we need men. Diversity of thought sparks innovation, and innovation sparks growth. Women think differently than men. When the influential thinking of women and men are combined, you have an unstoppable industry. 

Building Tomorrow's Women In Tech starts TODAY! We are too late for this generation, but we have to fast forward the path for the next. At WIT, we believe in putting women and girls in a position to break through every glass ceiling they encounter and continue to impact the generations that follow them.

Help us continue to provide our community with STEAM education, exposure, and experiences that build the next generation of women leaders. 

- $25 Empower college students to thrive academically, personally, and socially through the WIT Campus Program

- $50 Spark a girl's STEAM interests with a WIT Immersion Experience

- $75 Helps fund safe transportation for one single mother and her children to/from childcare and the classroom

- $100 Propel a girl forward with WIT's week-long Job Shadow Program 

- $250 Helps fund quality childcare, a significant monthly expense for the program, PLUS diapers, food, and a safe place for a child while our single mothers attend their 10-hour classes each Saturday

ABOUT GAgives on GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is a worldwide event celebrated each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. GAgives on GivingTuesday takes place on that day and is Georgia’s most significant day of giving each year. 

GAgives on GivingTuesday provides a unique, high-profile day each year to give back in support of thousands of nonprofits. GAgives also draws attention to the work and worth of nonprofits, celebrating the sector’s key role in making Georgia a great place to live, work, and play.

ABOUT WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY (WIT)

Women in Technology (WIT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the underrepresentation and challenges women and girls face in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math). WIT empowers women and girls to excel from the classroom to the boardroom by providing education, exposure, and experience. Our programs are designed to ensure a diverse tech talent pipeline, challenge stereotypes, and bring about significant change in the industry.

With a global membership of over 37,000 and a team of more than 250 volunteers, WIT delivers professional development and networking opportunities to our members and offers free programs to over 4,000 students. By sharing the stories of successful professionals across STEAM fields, we inspire all generations of girls and women to shape their futures.

Committed to making Georgia the state with the highest percentage of women in the STEAM workforce, WIT partners with the community to provide opportunities that support women throughout their education and careers.
